Package Features A list of guests by table number and in the order of place card settings is required to ensure placements are as per your requirements.
Once your seating plan has been decided, please bundle your place cards for each table together. Indicate on each bundle the table number and the number of people seated at that table. For each table, the first place card in the bundle represents seat 1 (shown on the diagram on the previous page), and follows clockwise. Our staff will place the cards on the tables for you. The Wedding cake may be delivered on the day of the reception or the day before the reception. Please advice the Functions Co-ordinator of delivery time. Cake bags are to be supplied by the client if required. The bottom tier of the wedding cake is sliced and served on platters in the centre of each table (one finger slice per person.) We recommend that speeches be held before dessert. After the last speech the Bride and Groom can proceed to the cutting of the cake. The Duty Manager will arrange for the wedding cake to be cut and served immediately following dessert with tea & coffee. The Bridal Waltz will then take place at your own discretion. We find that this procedure will ensure that your evening flows smoothly with minimum disruption for the Bride and Groom. ![]() A plan of the standard room layout is below for both the Fountain View Room and the Summit Restaurant (not to scale). Other configurations are possible, although it is our experience that the plans below are best suited to either the Summit Restaurant or the Fountain View Room in terms of service.
